Morris Kitchen is comprised of a brother / sister duo, Tyler and Kari Morris, out of Brooklyn. Kari came from a background in the arts, and Tyler as a chef.
Over the course of their careers, the two found themselves consistently drawn to a shared passion for the local movement. Their inherent belief in knowing where products come from and making conscious decisions for healthier, more cognizant lifestyles produced what we now know as Morris Kitchen.
Morris Kitchen creates all of its syrups in small batches, and pays special attention to the care and detail involved in their process. Each syrup is sourced from the best produce. Each label is letter-pressed and hand-stamped.
Tyler's background as a chef in the best restaurants from Sonoma to NYC formed the necessary culinary background to best judge the fantastic artisanal syrups they have come to create.
When not pouring themselves into perfecting Morris Kitchen's outputs, Tyler continues his career as at RYE in Louisville as a chef, and Kari continues to stay involved in New York, helping kids establish a foundation of knowledge for local produce and healthy eating.
